Product Description
Enamelled copper wire is copper wire coated with a thin, even layer of insulating enamel. It is used to wind the coils of transformers, motors, generators, relays and other electromagnetic devices.
The high-purity copper keeps electrical losses low, while the enamel prevents turn-to-turn short circuits even at high operating temperatures. Diameter, enamel type and thermal class can be specified to match the application.
