Product Description

The drop-out fuse cutout combines a fuse and a disconnect switch. It protects distribution transformers and line branches against over-current and short circuits.

When the fuse link melts, the fuse tube swings down (drops out), giving line crews a clear visual sign of which branch has operated. The tube can be removed and replaced with a hot-stick, making it a simple and economical way to isolate faults.
