Product Description
The FPQ-10-5 is a composite (fiber-reinforced polymer) pin insulator for 10 kV overhead distribution lines. It supports the conductor on the pole top or cross-arm and insulates it from the grounded structure.
Compared with porcelain, the composite body is much lighter and does not shatter, which makes transport and installation easier and reduces breakage losses. Each production batch is tested chemically, physically and electrically, and the test report travels with the shipping documents.
Custom versions (different loads, colors or fittings) can be supplied on request.
